Otherwise I am an out-of-network provider. I provide detailed invoices for services rendered. You can submit these to your insurance company.  Before scheduling I suggest contacting and asking the following questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health/behavioral health benefits?

  • What is the procedure for reimbursement?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met as of today?

How can psychotherapy help me?

I find that many of my clients have fallen within a spectrum of these two goals: Wanting a space to process difficult experiences or seeking tools to cope, manage and problem solve after difficult experiences or overwhelming emotions.

Psychotherapy can also assist in evaluating what is most important for you. It provides the tools to identify patterns and move towards growth. Coping skills, insight, and improved communication are all positive effects that can be gained from therapy.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Initial session can only be rescheduled twice.

What is the process to make an appointment?

You can either contact me via email or by phone to seek services. Our first interaction will be a 15 minute free consultation. This is where you can ask questions and get a feel for me as a clinician. If for any reason, we are not a good fit or what you seek is beyond my scope of practice as an LMHC, I can refer you to another provider that can better suit your needs.
Otherwise we will schedule our intake. The intake is not a traditional therapy session, this session is used to assess and evaluate your presenting concern and your history, in order to begin carving out goals collaboratively.
